I hear de summons!

You seek me help?

Sen'jin Village TCG

The crab scurried up from the tide, ocean water falling from its crusty shell. Its strange protruding eyes rotating up the shoreline while its claw snaps and clatters.

Pointed orange legs pierce the dry sand, the crab starts up the beach to the palms ahead, but then it pauses. The air suddenly too still, the crab begins to panic.

Before it can even wrest a single leg from the sand, a blinding flash and sizzle of electricity. The crab’s movement stops, its claw barely grasping at air as steam rises from its shell.

A troll emerges from the shoreline palms, static still playing out on his hands as he draws a blade from his belt. He crouches down, and tentatively reaches the blade out to tap the crab. The blade touches the shell and the crab, proportionally, rocks backward until tipping over into the sand.

The troll cocks his head to the side, a smile playing around his tusks as the cheer escapes, “Taz’dingo!”. He reaches out to pick up the crab, the other hand opening his still empty pack. Wrapping three blue fingers around the crusty crab, the obviously excited troll plucks the crab from the sand and swings his pack forward.

Letting go of the crab above the empty sack, his fingers open, but the crab remains. Its claw firmly pinched into the troll’s thumb.

“Ayye yaaa!” the troll cries out, as the crab drops to the sand - the troll’s thumb still clenched in its claw.

The crab haphazardly begins to try and scurry away to the waves, while the troll hops foot to foot on the sand, cursing and clasping his now two fingered hand.

Wet sand under the crabs feet, it scurries faster towards the waves, it’s eyes turning to look back to the troll. But, the troll is not there. The crab swings its eyes back towards the water and sees the blue of the sea - along with the angry blue grimace of a wounded troll.

Seja did bring back crab to Sen’jin village and his thumb would soon grow back, visible scars fading, but the memory of the crab to remain.
